By car
L'imbarco per l'isola da Porto S.Stefano si può raggiungere dalla SS1 Aurelia:
From North:
At Albinia, about 34km from Grosseto take the turn-off for Porto S. Stefano, about 15km.
From South:
At Orbetello, about 14 km from Rome take the turn-off for Porto S. Stefano, about 15km.
*At Porto S. Stefano there are attendant parking lots where you can leave your vehicle during your vacation, something to consider if you intend to visit other interesting places.
*During peak periods it may be difficult to take your car on the ferry without a reservation.
We recommend purchasing your ticket, or making a reservation, in advance so that your car will be guaranteed a place on the ferry.
ATTENTION:
From the end of July through August, cars with Italian license plates require a permit to cross to the island.
By train:
Pisa-Rome line to the Orbetello-Monte Argentario station, then by Autolinee RAMA bus from the train station directly to the ferry dock at Porto S. Stefano.
The bus makes about 20 trips a day, between 6:00 a.m. and 10:10 p.m., between the Orbetello Scalo train station and Porto S. Stefano. It is a 25-minute ride to the ferry dock.
Dalle 06:00 alle 22:10 vengono effettuate circa 20 corse dalla Stazione FF.SS di Orbetello Scalo per
Porto S. Stefano. In 25 minuti sarete all'imbarco.

By airplane:
A rail line connects Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino with the rest of the railway network that will take you to Orbetello-Monte Argentario station.
From the station, the Autolinee RAMA bus line provides service to the ferry dock at Porto S. Stefano.
It is possible to take a shuttle for the connection Airports (Roma C., Roma F. and Pisa) - Porto Santo Stefano by appointment.
